The XTOOL August 2026 software update expands diagnostic, special-function, key-programming, chip-repair, and electric-vehicle coverage across a wide range of vehicle brands and models.
Major additions include five one-click special functions for 126 Peugeot models, new Porsche service and SFD functions, expanded Ford key-programming coverage, BMS chip repair capabilities, and new diagnostic support for BYD, Chery EV, MG India, Geely Galaxy, GAC Motor, Baojun, and Wuling vehicles.
Peugeot V13.50 adds five one-click special functions for 126 models.
Porsche V14.80 expands service, battery, EPB, vehicle information, and SFD functions.
Chip Repair V7.00 adds BMS and module chip read, write, and repair capabilities.
Ford V27.74 adds mechanical and smart-key support for selected Focus, Escort, and Bronco Sport models.
EV and Chinese vehicle coverage expands across BYD, Baojun, Wuling, Geely Galaxy, GAC Motor, MG, JAC, and Chery EV.
XTOOL added basic diagnostic coverage for 2006–2014 Opel Vivaro gasoline engines. Supported functions include reading version information, reading and clearing diagnostic trouble codes, accessing freeze-frame data, and viewing live data.
The Isuzu update adds basic diagnostic functions for Isuzu and Thai Isuzu models through model year 2024. It also introduces a VIN-based vehicle-path recognition menu to help technicians select the appropriate diagnostic path.
Peugeot V13.50 adds five one-click special functions for 126 models, including the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 and the DS 3 and DS 4.

Porsche V14.80 expands special-function coverage across several model lines.
The update adds service reset, battery matching, and EPB functions for the Taycan Y1A. The 918 Spyder gains service reset, VIN mileage check, and automatic start-stop functions.
EPB functions are also available for the Boxster 981 and Porsche 911 generations 991 and 992. Seat matching has been added for the Cayenne 9YA.
SFD unlocking support has been added for selected Taycan, 911, Macan, Boxster, and Cayman applications.
The Mercedes-Benz Transporter update adds an oil-level check function for the 2021 Vito.
Toyota EV V6.50 adds one-touch special functions for EPB, DPF, GPF, BMS, and TPS systems.
Chip Repair V7.00 expands battery-management and body-control-module service capabilities.
The update includes:
BMS chip read and write for NIO EC6, ES6, and ES8 applications using TC275-64F
Read and write support for the Mercedes-Benz W254 48V lithium battery using TC275-64F
Read, write, and repair support for Mercedes-Benz W206 and W223 48V lithium batteries using TC277-64F
BMS chip read, write, and repair for the Range Rover P400E using TC264D-40F
BMS chip read and write for XPeng G3, GAC Aion S and Y, and Trumpchi GE3 using TC275-64F
Chip read and write for the BYD Dolphin left-side body control module using R7F701648
Nissan V27.85 adds HarmonyOS smart-key matching for the Nissan Teana. Smart-key matching is also available for the Nissan New Energy N6 and NX8.
Voyah V26.20 adds key matching for the Voyah Taishan.
AVATR V26.10 introduces NearLink, also known as SparkLink, key matching.
Ford V27.74 adds mechanical and smart-key systems for:
Ford Focus model years 2018–2021
Ford Escort model years 2019–2021
Ford Bronco Sport model year 2022
Supported operations include anti-theft data reading, keyless key addition, keyless all-keys-lost matching, and key-count reading.
The August update also adds:
Key matching for the Dongfeng M-Hero 917 series in V26.75
Support for 2-in-1 wiring-harness matching for Li Auto in V26.15
Anti-theft matching for Seres Landian E3, E5, and E5 PLUS in V26.05
NFC card-key support for IM L7 and LS7 in V26.10
Baojun V10.40 adds diagnostic coverage for models including Yunhai PHEV and EV, HECTOR, Yep Plus, Xiangjing EV and PHEV, Groove, and Captiva.
The same update expands Wuling coverage across passenger vehicles, vans, mini trucks, EVs, PHEVs, and range-extended vehicles. Supported model families include MINI EV, Bingo, Air ev, Comet, Starlight, SPARK EUV, Hongguang, N400 MAX and MOVE, Cortez, and Almaz.
Coverage varies by model and model year.
BYD V13.90 adds basic diagnostic functions for 16 models launched during the second half of 2025.

Supported basic functions include version information, DTC reading and clearing, and live data.
Geely Galaxy V5.17 adds basic diagnostic coverage for Galaxy Xingyao 6, Galaxy M9, and Galaxy Xingyao 8 EM-i.
Selected special functions have also been added for Galaxy E8, Xingjian 7 EM-i, Galaxy E5, Xingyao 8 EM-i, Xingyao 6, and Galaxy M9.
GAC Motor V10.20 adds several systems for the GAC Aion UT, including electronic parking-brake modules, Bosch camera and radar systems, reversing radar, rear millimetre-wave radar, the infotainment head unit, and the seat heating and ventilation module.
The update also adds gateway factory-mode inspection, battery coding, PDC torque reset, and steering-angle centre calibration for applicable systems.
MG V11.45 introduces an India-specific diagnostic menu covering models including:

JAC V9.55 adds the Jiule airbag system for the Refine M3.
Chery EV V11.00 adds basic diagnostic functions across an extensive range of Omoda, Fengyun, Tiggo, QQ3, and Tansuo models. Functions include version information, DTC reading and clearing, and live data.
The August release increases the number of vehicles and systems technicians can access through supported XTOOL diagnostic platforms. The update is particularly relevant to workshops handling newer EVs, battery-management systems, key programming, European vehicle service functions, and Chinese vehicle brands entering international markets.
Technicians should confirm device compatibility, software availability, vehicle region, and model year before beginning a diagnostic or programming procedure.
