The XTOOL September 2026 software update expands coverage for newer passenger vehicles, hybrid and electric models, immobilizer systems, NFC card keys, and electronic-module chip operations.
Key additions include diagnostic support for 2026 and 2027 SAIC GM EV, Honda, Toyota, Lexus, and Lynk & Co applications; password-free key programming for selected SAIC Wuling, Baojun, and Leapmotor vehicles; new chip read and write capabilities; and 7,663 functions across 16 BYD models released in the second half of 2025.
SAIC GM EV V7.30 adds diagnostic coverage for six 2026 and 2027 models.
Honda V13.90 adds Driver Monitoring Camera diagnostics and coverage for 65 systems on selected 2026 vehicles.
Toyota V16.40 and Toyota EV V6.60 expand coverage for 2026 Toyota and Lexus models.
Chip Repair V7.10 adds read and write support for BMS, VCU, infotainment, and suspension-module chips.
SAIC Wuling, Baojun, and Leapmotor receive expanded password-free or NFC key programming.
BYD V14.00 adds 7,663 bi-directional tests and special functions across 16 models.

Honda V13.90 adds diagnostic access to the Driver Monitoring Camera system. Supported functions include ECU information, DTC reading and clearing, live data, and freeze-frame data.
The update also adds these functions across 65 systems, including ENG, TCM, ABS, and BCM, for three 2026 vehicle applications listed in the official update.
Toyota V16.40 expands diagnostic coverage across selected 2026 Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
For applicable Corolla, RAV4, Land Cruiser, Highlander, Levin, and Avalon models, the update adds basic functions, data streams, bi-directional tests, and special functions.
Additional DTC and data-stream coverage is available for selected Toyota hybrid and electric models. Lexus additions cover models in the IS, LS, ES, and RZ ranges, with function availability varying by application.
Lynk & Co V13.90 adds support for the Lynk & Co 06 from model years 2020 through 2025.

Lexus coverage includes selected IS, LS, NX, TX, ES, and RZ hybrid or electric models. Available capabilities vary between basic diagnostics, data streams, DTC operations, bi-directional tests, and special functions.
Changan V27.75 expands model coverage within the key-programming software.

The update also adds immobilizer coverage for additional SUV and EV models, including Cloud EV, Bingguo S, Xingguang 560, and selected Taiwan-market applications.
Baojun V26.90 adds password-free key programming for the Huajing S and the 2026 Yueye PLUS.
Key programming is also added for selected RM-5, Xiangjing, and EQ100 applications.
FAW Hongqi EV V26.50 adds NFC card-key programming for the Tian Gong 05 and key programming for selected Hongqi models.
Leapmotor V26.30 adds password-free remote-key and NFC card-key programming for A05, A10, D19, and D99 applications through model year 2026. It also adds support for 2027 C10 and C16 models and optimizes existing NFC card-key programming.
FAW Bestune V27.76 adds key-programming support for selected M9, T90, Yueyi 07, and Yueyi 08 applications.
BYD V14.00 adds bi-directional tests and special functions for 16 models released during the second half of 2025.
